Another Small Finish

14 August 2010

As I’ve mentioned in past entries this year, my desire is to finish the things I have started!  Projects that are sitting in my stitching basket, some for a very long time! First up my small finish!  I can’t remember when I started this, I know it was sometime this year.  For some reason with this piece I just kept dragging my feet!  Well I buckled down this week and got it finished! Welcome

Apparently I Am Growing Odd Vegetables

11 August 2010

Apparently, I am growing some odd, obscure vegetables, like okra. Five of the first five co-workers I asked could not identify the okra I brought in to work for another co-worker who specifically asked for some after I went on and on and on and on about my fried okra. Fried okra, fresh fried okra, is very good by the way.

Long time no see

9 August 2010

Some time ago I did this painting for a friend: I used some custom brushes made during Schoolism classes, worked with textures, multiply, overlay and color…You know, good ol’ teacher Bobby’s way! Hope you enjoy it! And with “you” I mean you evil spammers, of course.
