I often think about how lucky I am to live here, in this house and neighbourhood, with my husband. We live in the middle of three bays all within a 5 minute walk. One of them has a lovely beach, with people bathing in summer and ice skating in winter.

Lately my focus on life seems to be pretty narrow, making it from Monday to Friday, so that I can relax and stitch on the weekends. Honestly I get up Monday morning and think about how far away Friday 3:30 (quitting time) is! I just want to come home, sit in my chair with one of my Mum’s quilts on my lap and stitch..

Valentine Bubble Wand Materials: Mod Podge matte Bubble wand Foam paintbrush Scissors Hot glue Decorative paper Ribbon or trim Steps: Cut a piece of paper to fit around the bubble wand. Apply Mod Podge to the back of the paper, wrap around the wand and top coat with a second layer of Mod Podge. Once dry, glue ribbons around the top and bottom.
