In a recent facebook post, one of the “fans” of the Cross Stitch page was “chatting” back and forth with me about one of my Valentine projects and she said she found it exciting because, according to her, “In my house you are a regular celeb.” I tease with my husband all the time that he is living with a Cross Stitch “cewebrity” and he just rolls his eyes. Of course, I did get recognized in Sam’s Club recently, but it was because I post so much on the fan page for the local weightloss program I participate in! Step Ahead at Community Health Fair

Temple Beth-el in Hillsborough sponsored a health fair for the community offering many different services – blood pressure checks, blood glucose tests, dental tips and many other services. Step Ahead participated to increase awareness about the obstacles with obesity and offered educational material as well as tests for BMI and body fat percentage. The fair was a great success with many community doctors and organizations volunteering their time and services.

My New Hot Glue Tools!

Finally, after a year of dreaming , working and tweaking details , I am pleased to announce the first designs in a set of new hot glue tools we are making with Plaid . The tools are designed to help prevent hot glue burns and make working with hot glue a little easier. The first part of the line will be unveiled tomorrow at the CHA Craft Supershow ! The craft mat and tools will be sold as a set and will available at retailers soon.
